Be part of an exciting new opportunity to develop and deliver clinical health psychology and neuropsychology provision within our Integrated Community Stroke Service. We are delighted to have been granted significant investment to enable our current service to move to compliance with the National Service Model, ICSS. This will be life changing for our Cornish population and transformational for the service as funding increase across all disciplines and psychological professions are introduced for the first time as embedded members of the team.
The Cornwall Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) delivers a rehabilitation services across the whole of Cornwall with a main base at Camborne and Redruth Hospital and second base at Bodmin Health Centre with post acute inpatient beds in CRCH and Bodmin community hospitals. The service leadership are proactive and forward thinking and well supported within the Adult Community Services Division, Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust (CPFT). The introduction of psychological professions within a community team delivering physical health services for adults marks a new development for CPFT and a principle it is hoped can be built upon for other services. The post holder will benefit from collegiate relationships with the Clinical Health Psychology Team based at Royal Cornwall Hospital and Network opportunities are available with other psychologists working in related services in the South West.
