Clinical Psychologist Band 8a , 0.6wte (22.5 hours)
Nottinghamshire Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Bassetlaw Specialist Neurodevelopmental Assessment Services (ASD & ADHD)
As a result of service transformation we have secured additional permanent funding for Clinical Psychology provision within our Bassetlaw multidisciplinary assessment service. Post holders will join a highly specialist team consisting of a specialist Consultant Paediatrician, Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist and an Assistant Psychologist.
The MDT service provides specialist assessment services to children and young people up to 19 years, and their families who present with neurodevelopmental concerns.
The post holder will also join an integrated, friendly and supportive group of 15 Clinical Psychologists working across the Nottingham City and conurbation multi-disciplinary CAMHs; including Children Looked After services. There are good opportunities for CPD , strong mechanisms for support and good links with the DClinpsy courses at Trent, Sheffield and Leicester University.
The post holder is required to hold a post graduate doctorate in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS and have Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
