An excellentopportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivatedqualifiedMedical Photographer to join our friendly team at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.Our new hospital building, situated in Springfield Park,opened in October 2015 andprovidesaunique, relaxingenvironmentwhichisinspired by children.The post is for30 hoursBand 5 role to supportourgrowingteamin anexciting andinnovativedepartment.
Our Medical Photography service provides clinical photography and videographyacross the Trustand specialises in 3D imaging, and you will get the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge to support future advancementsand serviceprogression.The post-holder willbe required towork with ourteam toprovidestudio and ward basedclinical photographyto a wide variety of clinics and patientsincluding burns and plastics, spinal,orthodontics,safeguarding and craniofacial services.
Werequire the post-holderto have a BSc in Clinical Photography or relevant photography degree and a Post Graduate qualification inClinical Photography.You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised, compassionateandpatient focused.The post holderwill be expected to participate inthe department’sout-of-hours on-call service.

Provide a patient focussed specialised clinical/scientific photography service in the studio, wards and other clinical areas of the Trust to aid diagnosis and treatment planning by providing accurate visual record of disease including assessment of patients to determine the most appropriate way of visually recording a disease, deformity or clinical evidence or injuries of patients. Photography for all clinical disciplines, some of which are highly distressing such as paediatric burns, non-accidental injuries, accident trauma and bereavement photography
