We are recruiting for a Advanced Oncology Pharmacist - Operations Pharmacist Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
As the Advanced Pharmacist Manager for Operational Services Lead, manage and develop the operational Pharmacy services to ensure that patients receive safe, high quality and clinically effective pharmaceutical care.
The successful candidate will be supported to develop their leadership and management skills.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata and also 3% Emergency Duty Commitment.

Lead, manage and develop the operational Pharmacy services to ensure that patients receive safe, high quality and clinically effective pharmaceutical care.
To provide a specialist and patient focused oncology pharmacy service to Mount Vernon Cancer Centre whilst being based in the oncology outpatient clinic areas, the day care units and the inpatient wards at the cancer centre on a rotational basis
To be an active member of both the oncology pharmacy team and the oncology out-patients team and inpatient wards to help meet the overall strategic objectives of the teams in the provision of pharmaceutical care for cancer patients.
To promote the safe, clinically effective and cost-effective use of medicines.
Develop operational Pharmacy services in a manner that reflects Trust, local and National Health Service strategy and priorities.
In accordance with overall professional guidance and NHS policy, to ensure compliance with clinical governance standards in the pharmacy dispensing service and medicines management across the Trust.
As a member of the Pharmacy Management Team, to help deliver a strategic vision for the Pharmacy Department and Business Plan in line with the Cancer Centre and Trust Strategies.
