Specialist Clinical Pharmacist
The Lister Hospital
Full time - 37.5 hours Shift patterns - 9-5.30pm, 8-4.30pm and 11-7pm including weekends and bank holidays and On-call

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Lister Hospital during a time of expansion of the Pharmacy Department. Additional roles have been added to support growth, service delivery and also opportunity for the team.

We are looking for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to work with the existing team who work with the following specialisms: Fertility, Surgical, Gynaecology, GI, Orthopaedics and ITU.
Experience:
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Additional post graduate clinical qualifications e.g. Cert. Clinical Pharmacy Part 1 (desirable)
- Minimum 1 years hospital experience
- Experience for specialist areas e.g. Orthopedics, General Medicine, Critical Care/ HDU and General surgery.
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
- Health and Safety training
Skills:
- Good verbal and non verbal communication skills
- Supervisory skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Evidence of updating clinical skills/knowledge
- Customer care skills
- PC skills and adapt to different information technology software within the organization e.g. ICIP, Meditech.
