SARC Manager - Surrey SARC
Mountain Healthcare is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for registered general nurses with leadership experience, based in Surrey.
Each region has its own dedicated SARC (sexual assault referral centre) which offers support and practical help to anyone who has been a victim of rape or sexual assault. The Solace Centre SARC is based in Surrey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating all activities related to the smooth running of the SARC. The SARC Manager will effectively lead and manage this multi-agency centre and services, playing a pivotal role in developing a strategic vision for the service ensuring changes meet internal and external expectations and meets budgetary constraints.
Whilst the role will predominantly be based from the Solace Centre SARC in Surrey, additional travel will be an operational requirement of this role.

The role involves
- Co-ordinating and delivering safe and effective services to all clients of the SARC meeting National and Local Targets in relation to rape and sexual assault.
- evaluating and assessing the current service delivery and implementing changes in practice that deliver significant and substantial improvements in access and service delivery, whilst working within a budget.
- the management of all employees associated with the SARC.
Please note: The SARC Manager will also complete the role of Forensic Nurse Examiner as part of the Forensic Service requirements (2 out of 7 days per week).
