Location: Yeovil
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £34,742.67 - £39,555.19 per annum dependant on Experience (pay point 29-33)
Annual Leave Entitlement: Initial entitlement 33 days pro rata for part time (inclusive of Bank Holidays), rising to 35 days after 1 year and increasing dependent on length of service. NHS Reckonable service is honoured.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Developmental clinical nurse specialist, to join our Community Nurse Specialist team, based in and working throughout Yeovil and South Somerset.
You will undertake the holistic assessment, planning and delivery of specialist palliative and supportive care for patients, with advanced, progressive life limiting disease. We require someone who can work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
The role will require evidence of post registration experience within palliative care, oncology, or a related subject. A passion for palliative care and thorough knowledge of life limiting illnesses is key for success in this role.

This role requires working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis; therefore, flexibility and teamwork are crucial in providing this service.
