Job description
We are seeking a Dual Trained Clinical Nurse Specialist in Sexual Health to join Spectrum Community Health CIC, the post is Agenda for Change Band 6, providing clinical care independently to patients attending the service.
We have an innovative approach to clinical provision with a strong digital strategy which contributes to the flexibility of patient care, but also work/life balance. You will be part of a wider sexual health team within Spectrum, which includes peer engagement from other clinical nurse specialists both in Wigan and Leigh and our colleagues at our other sites in Barnsley and Wakefield. We have a strong focus on clinical governance and have a weekly cross site education meeting, for everyone to participate in.
This post is primarily based at temporary clinical site in Leigh, whilst our brand new custom designed clinical site is completed in central Wigan (spoke provision is also part of this role).
The welcome payment is payable to new candidates joining Spectrum Community Health CIC.
The post holder will provide an outpatient model of sexual health care, focusing on achieving excellent patient outcomes for their sexual health needs (includes both STI management and contraception). The post holder will work within the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality clinical environment, input into service delivery, supporting medical, nursing, and administrative colleagues.
The successful candidate will possess a professional registration and/or experience and/or training.
