We have an immediate opportunity for Community Liaisons.
General Summary: The Community Liaison performs daily marketing and community education calls including face to face contact, telemarketing and written correspondence. Develops and implements strategic planning for territory management, follow through and continual growth as it relates to LifeCare Hospital services. The Community Liaison is actively involved in department activities, transdisciplinary team activities, and LifeCare activities to ensure individualized, patient-centered health care for all patient populations admitted to LifeCare Hospital.
Patient Population: Has contact with patients in a non-clinical setting; understands and demonstrates appropriate behavior when interacting with patients in the adult (18-65 years of age) and geriatric (65 and older) populations.
Essential Functions:
- Manages daily and weekly schedule of marketing activities per requirements.
- Maintains effective working relationships with referral sources.
- Seeks out referral source contacts.
- Sets priorities so evaluations are completed immediately.
- Maintains up-to-date, accurate territory management material.
- Demonstrates positive, informative interaction with ancillary departments, co-workers, and LifeCare Hospital physicians.
- The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the position requirements are demonstrated through the successful completion of competencies established for the position, to include population served, and other special needs of patients or customers served by the department.
- Adheres to LifeCare policies, procedures, all safety plans, and all standards imposed by regulatory organizations.
- Regular attendance and timeliness is required.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of two years experience in a health care setting is required. Previous marketing experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in the health care field is preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current applicable license in state where practicing.
