Primary Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, faxing information to outside facilities for patient continuity of care and ensure that HIPAA/legal guidelines are followed in all interactions with patients and in handling medical records
- Respond to patient enquiries related to ROI, assist patients with questions about their medical records
- Scan/Index approximately 30,000 pages/month of clinical forms/documentations into EMR (TouchWorks Scan) for SMA clinics
- Ensure that HIPAA and legal guidelines are being followed with scanning/indexing medical records content into the EMR
- Auditing at least 50,000 pages a month of paperwork in EMR to verify that errors have not occurred in the indexing
- Ensure that HIPAA and legal guidelines are being followed with scanning medical records content into the EMR
- Report issues directly to Sr. Lead/Mgmt. Provide administrative support to including projects, as assigned in order to meet HIM business needs

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months of experience in Call Centers, Customer Service, Healthcare, or similar environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of HIM experience

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $31.44.
