- POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Analyst is second-tier clinical support and is responsible for maintaining hospital clinical applications, system design, configuration/build, optimization, ongoing maintenance and upgrades, issue analysis and resolution, as well as providing and creating concise training materials to help maximize patient safety, system efficiencies, and usability of the EMR. The clinical analyst works collaboratively with the analyst team, department directors, managers, quality, vendors, and end users to develop strategies to improve performance and documentation. The clinical analyst will work with the project manager on project plans, timelines, and tasks to ensure smooth implementation. The clinical analyst will work with the quality department to develop EMR workflows that meet quality measures reporting and implement new technology as part of regulatory requirements for promoting interoperability.
- QUALIFICATION
- BSN preferred; Minimum of an associates degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a Hospital with hands on exposure to hospital information systems (HIS).
- Cerner Community Works experience preferred.
- State of Vermont RN License preferred.
