  • First-class clinical assessment and triage of complex employee cases (relating to absence, or absence prevention) within agreed target times (SLAs and KPIs) and quality standards.
  • Post-assessment sickness absence case management, in collaboration with our non-clinical Wellness Advisory Team, which may involve planning, reviewing, coordinating and/or signposting and advising on care and support pathways, appropriate phased return to work programmes, as well as reasonable adjustments, to assist our people stay in, or return to work.
  • Stakeholder management, including liaising and discussion of needs, with internal People Leaders and/or HR professionals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within area of clinical practice, providing clinical expertise, leadership and advice to the business, with responsibility for proactive analysis and reporting of trends, developing and implementing evidence based clinical best practice, focused strategies, policies, procedures and training across Wellness Advisory services, taking into account H&S legislation.
  • To act as a source of support, advice, and expertise in managing safeguarding to offer the highest level of support for our people. Additionally, conducting appropriate risk assessments and/or psychological assessments, overseeing and monitoring the management of any risks/safeguarding concerns and ensuring that relevant paperwork is completed.

  • Demonstrable clinical and/or OH experience required in a corporate occupational health and wellbeing setting (essential)
  • UK recognized qualification in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy (essential)
  • Active professional UK board registration (essential)
  • For Nurses –
    • Registered on part 3 of NMC Register (Occupational Health desirable)
    • Mental health trained with advanced counselling background (desirable)
  • For Physiotherapists
    • ACPOHE Membership or working towards this (desirable)
  • Competent in all aspects of sickness absence management, from clinical assessment and triage, through to post-assessment sickness absence case management (essential)
  • Trained and experienced in conducting diagnostic assessments in work and education, across a range of neurodivergent profiles, with a knowledge of adjustments and support for neurodiverse adults in education, training and the workplace (desirable)
  • Expert knowledge of legislation and guidance on safeguarding and working with vulnerable adult, as well as experience of managing risk and the policies, procedures, and process maps for escalating risk (desirable)
  • Experience of providing clinical leadership and advice on matters relating to quality and safety in their area of clinical practice (desirable)
  • Case Management / ServiceNow software experience (desirable)
