Finance Analyst
Location: UK Home Worker

The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Services Manager, we are in search of a Finance Services Analyst to support all areas relating to banking and cash, intercompany and Travel and Expenses (T&E) for all entities in the EMEAI region.
As the business has expanded through acquisition and growth there is increasing volume and complexity of transactions running through banks, cash and intercompany. You will be key to ensuring the transactions are processed in a timely manner and meet all compliance requirements.
Responsibilities: (use cheat sheet/splash statements
Banks - You will ensure all bank transactions are posted accurately promptly through the banks. This will require you to;
- Investigate any discrepant items
- Work with key stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes
- Support and cover the finance services assistant
- Complete and provide reports to stakeholders – treasury and accounting
- Cover and complete all bank reconciliations
Intercompany – supporting the Finance Services Manager in all aspects of intercompany. You will be responsible for;
- Running routing reports, collecting all backup for audits and filing all documents
- Reviewing system posting discrepancies (ICRs) and resolving source issues
- Liaising with central intercompany team and counter parties to ensure correct posting of all transactions
Cashflow – supporting the Finance Services Manager to produce weekly cashflow for all entities. This will involve you;
- Running and developing reports
- Investigating non-routine and larger items to ensure accuracy
T&E – Support the T&E team in all activities
- Provide a first line of support to the team on issues, technical, tax, policy or process
- Provide cover for holidays
- Creating and maintaining processes, procedures and training documentation
What does Leidos need from me?
You will be an engaged, detail orientated and experienced individual who can navigate the complexities of the Leidos business and its systems.
Required Skills;
- Proven track record in a similar finance role
- Understanding of basic accounting norms – double entry, general ledgers and sub-ledgers
- Great interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proven record of working with and understanding ERP systems
- Enthusiasm
It would be great if you had;
- An accounting qualification – AAT, part qualified accountant
- Accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Reporting and analytic tool experience
