At Humphrey Munson we make award-winning beautiful handmade kitchens and cabinetry for the rest of the home.
As the company continues to expand, we are looking for a full-time Client Services Assistant to join the design team working from our head office in Felsted, Essex as well as our Chelsea showroom, as and when required
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Client Services Assistant will need to combine excellent customer service with administrative responsibilities – providing information and samples to clients, processing orders for clients and assisting with showroom meetings when required. The role requires excellent organisational and administration skills, a positive can-do attitude, enthusiasm and attention to detail is also essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Quote pricing, stock and lead times on H|M freestanding furniture, accessories and flooring.
- Deal with enquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly sales reports.
- Ensure all database trackers are up to date.
- Ensure satisfactory and efficient resolution to any queries and issues with deliveries and lead times.
- Act in a proactive and responsive manner to ensure excellent service to clients at all times.
- Ensure that product collateral is kept up to date and of a high standard.
Skills:
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office including Word and Excel). Training will be provided for our in-house order processes.
- Excellent communication skills over email, telephone and in person.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
- Previous experience required in sales and customer service.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a keen interest in interior design and would like the opportunity to pursue a career at Humphrey Munson. We have a close tight-knit team in the design studio and head office so we need someone who has a positive, motivated and proactive attitude and also enjoys working as part of a team.
40 hours per week (please kindly do not apply if you cannot commit to 40 hours per week). Driving licence required.
Although the starting salary indicated is £22,000 per year, this is negotiable, based on prior experience.
