Executive Education are specialists in the leadership development of high-performing, high-potential executives in innovation-intensive science and engineering-based industries. As a core activity, we design, develop and deliver customised, open enrolment, online and apprenticeship levy programmes.

The Executive Education Client Relationship Manager will be required to manage and support the development of new and existing clients and projects to enable an amazing client experience. The Client Relationship Manager will be point of contact for clients on all programme matters: financial, legal and operational. This person will work closely with the Client Directors and the Programme Managers.

Duties and responsibilities



  • Lead in developing and managing existing client relationships, identifying business opportunities and in proposing add-on or new services, working with Client Directors.

  • Lead client and Executive Education engagement to ensure all external (client; external stakeholders) and internal (faculty; management) customers’ needs are met

  • Support the team’s business development activities to increase the market visibility of Imperial College Business School

  • Create and manage high-level project plans for each programme

  • Help develop the capabilities of Executive Education

  • Working with the Director of Custom Programmes and senior team members, develop client-facing consulting, proposal-writing and presentation experience.

Essential requirements

Previous experience of client relationship and project management is essential, preferably in a professional service or consulting environment. A good undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, is also required. Good business writing skills and relationship development skills are also essential.

The position will require some evening and weekend work and may require some international and domestic travel.
