Job description

The opportunity at hand

At Method, we create technology that powers small business growth. As we continue to grow, Partner Marketing is a huge priority for us and an area that we’re excited to continue to invest heavily in.

We are looking for a Partner Manager who will own the growth and engagement of our partner program. Someone who has experience in partner management and who is focused on building relationships. This person will be responsible for executing all partner related marketing strategies including social media, events and promotions.

At Method, doing fantastic work is just as important as looking out for each other and our community. From flex hours, full benefits, and our Method:Gives program, we do our best to support both our employees and community.

As a marketing team, we’re keen to fail fast, learn from one another, and have (more than) a few laughs along the way.

What we do

Method understands that businesses are unique and so it is our vision to create a small business platform that is easily personalized for each of our customers.

Our flagship product is Method:CRM, a customer relationship management tool made specifically for small businesses who have outgrown their processes. Unlike other CRMs, the combination of Method’s deep QuickBooks sync and no-code customization engine enable businesses to achieve their optimal workflows.

You can learn more about Method and our team here!

The role

As our next Partner Manager, you will report to the Manager, Growth Marketing as part of our Growth team.

Partner Management:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive tactical plan for the partner channel to support the company's growth strategies.
- Identify and source potential partnership opportunities for Method:CRM, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, and continuously identify opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure successful partner onboarding and ongoing support.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics related to the partner channel, and use insights to optimize partner strategies and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging partnership models to proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular reporting and updates on partner channel performance and event/conference outcomes to the wider marketing team.

Partner Events:

- Plan and manage all partner related events and conferences, including workback sheets, logistics, budgeting, vendor management, day of schedule and coordination of all necessary resources.
- Prepare and develop the event on-site engagement strategy and materials, including, but not limited to deck presentations, banners, pamphlets, business cards to drive awareness and adoption of the Method partner program.
- On an as-needed basis, negotiate with event organizers on event contract details.

What you bring

Before you read this next section, we want you to know that we know the “ideal candidate” doesn’t exist — everybody has a unique background and skill set.
