Client Account Manager
Salary £35,000
Due to a growing number of new direct clients we are seeking a Client Account Manager to work with our management team within Pre-Employment Vetting. This role will be the first point of contact to nominated clients as well as liaising with the internal operations teams to meet and exceed client contract obligations, while developing and enhancing our services to assist with the drive for future growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing client accounts in a service environment, be detail orientated and have the drive to provide client service excellence. They will be organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong client relationship experience. This is not a sales role, however you will be expected to discuss any new services available with the clients as well as understanding the client’s future requirements.
Core duties and responsibilities
- Carry out quarterly client reviews, advise them of additional services available, discuss the clients’ strategic requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and IT on future changes to our services to resolve client issues and support growth opportunities.
- Assist with the annual IDSP re-certification.
- Onboard new clients
- Manage client contract renewals
- Manage aged debt
- Manage client invoice queries
- Weekly/monthly/annual/ad-hoc reporting to clients and stakeholders
- Preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts
- Monthly P&L preparation
Person specification
- Previous experience in a similar client account manager role
- Ability to build long lasting client relationships
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure the timely delivery of tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective planning and organisational skills to ensure the timely delivery of tasks to a high standard
- Desire to drive excellent, sustainable results
