Who we're looking for...
Ward Clerk
To assist the ward team, ensuring the smooth functioning of the unit through effective communication, general business administration and appropriate interactions with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
To provide reception duties for the unit including making outpatient appointments and prioritising and judging where action is needed in relation to consultants, nursing, patients and administration requests.
To be responsible for the collation of all patient records/x-rays for forthcoming admissions.
All activities will be under the direction of the Ward Manager, or senior nurse.
