The Role –Cleaning Operative

AM Services Group is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic Cleaner to assist with the cleanliness and upkeep of a leading glass manufacturer office building based in Hindley Green, Bickershaw,

This is a Full time Permanent Part time role of 40 hrs per week, the suitable person would be available to work from Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning tasks including damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming
  • Cleaning toilets facilities, washrooms and the gym
  • Cleaning offices, meeting rooms and production areas
  • Cleaning of the staff kitchens and dining areas
  • Cleaning windows within easy reach.
  • Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers and Supervisors
  • Use cleaning materials in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.

Skills Required

  • Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance are important
  • Transport is essential
  • Experience with work to tight schedules.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
