Job description
Weekly hours: Shifts are 12 hours, on 4 days-on, 4 days-off basis.
Location: Belfast Airport
Hourly Rate: £11ph day shift
£11.25ph night shift
***Please note you must be able to pass a strict security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check. If you have not been resident in Ireland throughout the last 5 years you will need to provide a current police disclosure for every country, you have lived in for the last 5 years. Main Purposes Of The Role:
- Carry out a variety of cleaning assignments
- Provide high quality cleaning services as assigned.
- To maintain a clean, hygienic and safe working environment at all times.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with daily operating procedures.
Key Tasks/ Accountabilities:
- Mopping floors
- Using Scrubber/Dryers and other equipment to maintain standards on site
- Vacuuming floors
- Touch Point Cleaning
- Clean desks
- Dust legs of desks and chairs
- Clean appliances
- Dust to hand height
- Empty bins
- Dispose of rubbish bags/Waste Management
- Clean toilets & bathrooms
- Clean canteen areas
Job Holder Specification
Formal Education:
- Good use and understanding of the English language, sufficient for team briefings and to follow detailed instructions e.g. Health & Safety rules
Technical Education:
- Non-essential, but training in use of cleaning equipment desirable plus prior instruction in safe use of cleaning chemicals. However, full training is provided.
