Cleaning Operative
Join us here at Bournemouth and Poole College as an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Operative to join the team where you will receive a competitive salary of £9.74 per hour. You will join us on a 35 hours per week, permanent basis.
We are a subsidiary of Bournemouth & Poole College providing cleaning services to the College sites in both Poole and Bournemouth. SEFM are committed to maintaining the cleanliness of the college premises for the benefit of students, staff and visitors.
About the role:
As the Cleaning Operative you will be required to maintain the cleanliness of the College premises for the benefit of students, staff and visitors. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable adaptable individual to join our Cleaning team working at our Lansdowne site.
Responsibilities as our Cleaning Operative will include:
- General cleaning duties including – cleaning of offices, classrooms, entrances, walkways, kitchens, toilets and washrooms and waste removal
- Weekly deep cleaning of areas
- Machine operating – Carpet cleaning, window cleaning and cleaning of hard floors
As our Cleaning Operative, you’ll ideally have:
- Previous Cleaning experience
- Punctuality
- Self-motivation
- The ability to follow a work schedule and carry out your tasks independently
- A keen eye for detail
