Job description
To support the Cleaning team, we are looking to recruit a Cleaning Manager to join Leeds Bradford® Airport, to ensure all of our service standards are achieved across the terminal by delivering results in a fast-pace working environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Compliance checks
- Local Audit processes
- Completion of Fault Report/SIR (safety incident report) and data compliance forms
- You will drive our team of Supervisors and in House Cleaners to deliver outstanding customer experience.
- Create change in our current processes and find more suitable ways of working for our staff to become efficient in all they do.
- Own the standard for the team and drive a culture that embraces this.
- Create a team that excel in all they do and have passion for their roles.
- Bring ownership and passion in to the team where pride in the job is essential
- Deliver 1:1’s and other team meetings to discuss challenges and ways of working.
- Have a can do attitude and don’t be afraid to get involved.
- Own the relationships with our suppliers and drive cost and working efficiencies.
- To support orders and act as a intermediary in the event of an emergency within the airports campus (Managing, communicating and co-ordinating).
- Trained as a first Aider to assist with passenger and staff emergencies.
- An understanding of each department ‘Risk Register’
- Ensure all observations are reported/followed up and due focus given
- Control the teams HSE agenda and ensure all COSHH and RIDDOR breaches are investigated and reported accordingly.

- All reports are generated with timescales issued
- Manage their part in the customer journey at LBA
- Drive a customer first approach with their team
- Ensure customers Health and safety is at the forefront of the team’s objectives
- Deliver an open approach to the terminal for customer to ask questions.
