Job description
The Cleaning & Domestic Services team is part of Soft Services, Operations & Maintenance, which sits within the Estates Department of Coventry University Enterprises Ltd. The Domestic & Cleaning Services team provides a full range of customer focused cleaning services which meets the growing needs of the university. These services will include cleaning of all university sites and managed facilities as well as deep cleaning using specialist equipment.
We are looking for a hard-working, reliable, and experienced Cleaning Coordinator to join our team and help us continue to deliver the best facilities to our students. The post will support the Cleaning Section Manager in the running of the day-to-day cleaning operations of allocated buildings within the campus, as well as supervising a team of Cleaners. Effective communication, orally and in written form is an essential attribute for this post along with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
This position is permanent subject to a probationary period, working 37.5 hours per week and the shift patterns will be 06:30-15:00 & 12:00-20:30 on a rota basis. Flexibility will be required at times to cover business needs, as the university provides cleaning services seven days per week. The role will include 5/7 working and prior notice will always be given and you may be required from time-to-time to work at premises which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire.
The roles does not require you to hold a full UK (United Kingdom) or European driving licence, however, this would be advantageous.
