Job description
We are looking for two full-time cleaners to join us at the University Library. The main University Library is based on West Road but consists of a number of affiliated and departmental libraries across Cambridge.
You will be working as part of a team carrying out cleaning and various other duties to a high standard in order to maintain and enhance the working environment. No prior specialist training is required. However, it is essential that the role holder is able to clean to a high standard and has a willingness to be trained on the job.
We currently have two vacancies available working Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. One vacancy will be predominantly based at the University Library, West Road, whilst the second vacancy will be shared with the Betty and Gordon Moore library, Wilberforce Road.

You will have a good attention to detail and take pride in your work. You will preferably have experience of cleaning (offices, public areas), and be able to prioritise your workload with minimal supervision. The ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidates will be required to undergo a basic disclosure check.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
