Our client based in central York is looking for reliable cleaners to start work as soon as possible. The work is temporary for a minimum of 3 months, with potential for the assignment to be extended or go permanent. Rates of pay for the role start at £10.50 per hour.
The site is a modern, award winning office block based in central York, close to the train station. The normal shifts available are 5.00pm – 9.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 4.30pm – 8.30pm on a Friday, although more hours may be available. PPE equipment and clothing will be provided.
Reliability is essential as is previous experience of cleaning (ideally) including:
- Vacuuming, mopping etc. in areas such as floors, toilets and hallways.
- Using chemicals and cleaning machinery safely.
- Moderate physical effort, which will involve walking, standing and lifting.
- Sanitising (where necessary).
