Job description
We are seeking to recruit a Cleaner to join our busy Estates team, based at one of our Student Halls of Residence, located on the outskirts of Norwich. You will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of our Beechcroft Accommodation.
You will carry out day to day cleaning duties as required. You will have the ability to work flexibly and independently, with minimal supervision.
Your main goal will be to ensure Beechcroft Accommodation is kept clean and in an orderly condition. You will carry out daily cleaning jobs in accordance with the cleaning schedule. Duties include, performing various cleaning actions such as dusting and polishing, emptying waste bins, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning toilet facilities. Notifying management in case there is a need for repair and stock replenishment, maintaining cleaning cupboards and cooperating with the rest of the team. It is important that all health and safety regulations are followed.
This role involved regular contact with students, so a conscientious and professional attitude is essential, alongside excellent interpersonal skills.
