Job description
Winston Solicitors in Roundhay are looking for a new cleaner. It is an important job and that's why we want someone to join the team, rather than a contract cleaner. If you can work 2 hours per day, Monday-Friday, totalling 10 hours per week and can clean the offices keeping them neat, tidy, professional and hygienic, we want to hear from you. We take pride in our office appearance and are looking for someone who is proud to be part of helping us maintain a professional image.
We want you to be a visible part of the team so are looking for someone who can work at the beginning or end of the day, ideally starting no earlier than 5pm in the evening or a no later than 7.30am in the morning.
It's a large office so some duties can be spread over the week, with communal client facing areas cleaned daily.

Job Description
Daily duties
- Over a week’s rota, ensure that all offices and communal areas are cleaned – vacuum all carpets, dust all accessible desks tables, phones, chairs, window sills, skirting boards etc.
- Empty waste bins and remove to the outside bins.
- Sparkle clean reception and meeting rooms
- Ensure communal areas are properly clean, this may require vacuuming/sweeping and mopping all hard floors, sanitise door handles, dust or polish where appropriate e.g. window sills, skirting boards, desks.
- Clean all toilets/bathrooms
- Clean Glass in internal doors and sanitise door handles
Weekly Duties
- Clean out fridge and sanitise
- Brush front steps and remove debris
- Deep clean of kitchen and bathrooms
- Ensure adequate cleaning equipment and supplies are in stock
The above is a general guide and may be altered through agreement with the Practice Manager once a routine is established. Additionally extra duties may be requested either instead of some duties or additional with extra remuneration.
