The role of a Cleaner/Caretaker will ensure that the communal areas of our properties, empty homes & open spaces reflect our ambition to provide great properties and places for our customers.
We are offering both part-time and full-time time opportunities and can be fully flexible in the hours worked.
Key duties include:
- Scheduled cleaning of communal areas ensuring that they are maintained in a hygienic, clean and presentable condition
- Clearance of litter bins, fly tipped waste, and green matter (weeds/fallen leaves) as identified
- Report back any Health and Safety concerns, work with colleagues to achieve best outcomes for our customers
Please note: This role is known internally as Estates Services Operative.
More about you
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience of delivering high quality cleaning and maintenance services, ideally within a customer facing role. The ideal candidate will be able to not only provide up front solutions to customers, but also have the ability to make quick informed decisions.
You will also have the aptitude to work with mobile technology and demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service, ensuring communal services are carried out to a high standard.
We are keen to develop our colleagues, so we can train you to do a range of minor building repair and maintenance tasks to our communal and estate areas!
Candidates must also possess a full, clean driving licence as you will be required to drive one of our Curo vans on occasion.
You will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!
When and where you'll be doing it
You will largely be required to work across our estate, travelling between locations, however on occasion, the reporting office will be The Maltings on Lower Bristol Road.
You will be able to work 40 hours a week, flexibly, Monday to Friday, based on our customers’ needs.
