CLEANER - NIGHTSHIFT
Reporting to: Facilities Manager
Hours of work 39 hours per week – Nightshift (Mon- Thurs)
7pm – 7am Mon & Tues
6.30pm – 6.30am Wed
5.30pm – 10pm Thurs
The Job
To maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout a manufacturing site and ensure all waste materials are disposed of in the proper manner in line with Company Procedures & Current Legislation and within Budget.
Be able to carry out duties defined by the Facilities Manager in a timely & professional manner on a regular basis.
Duties:
- Primarily waste collection for our manufacturing area and disposal into compactors
- To operate various floor cleaning equipment to be able to clean our ESD flooring.
- Required to cover cleaning in all other areas of the facility such as Offices, Toilets, Replenishing of stock, Corridors with Vacuuming, Dusting & Polishing.
- Working to a weekly programme /schedule in order to clean the facility
The Person
- Preferred experience in a cleaning environment
- The ability to work in a team and also be able to work on your own initiative to a high standard and take responsibility for own actions
- Awareness of recycling
- Reliable, conscientious and a trustworthy individual
- Good verbal communication skills, and able interact well with work colleagues
- Able to follow instructions with the minimum of supervision.
Training will be provided where necessary in all aspects of the job.

Salary: £21,135.00 per year
