Hours/Pay: Flexible shifts including weekends between 9 – 6 pm

Can be on a volunteer basis and if required remuneration based on experience

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a cleaner is not a requirement – we are looking for a trustworthy and reliable individual with a can-do attitude who is comfortable working in a hands-on role

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around residences, office or Gurdwara buildings.
  • Cleans floors and rooms. including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
  • Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Clean commercial kitchen equipment and structures.
  • Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners. Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Monitors and maintains sanitation and organisation of assigned areas.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff. Performs additional duties as needed.
