Cleaner

Hours: 28 hours per week (Fixed Term)

Location: Havant

Salary: £10.60 per hour

Horizon Leisure Centres are currently looking to recruit a part-time Cleaner at our Havant Leisure Centre. As a Cleaner you will be responsible for ensuring all public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high safe and hygienic standard..

Your primary responsibilities as a Cleaner will be to;

  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintainedin all areas.
  • Clean and prepare both wet side/dry side areas inaccordance with the current cleaning schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety andCOSHH regulations. To safely use cleaning machinery when required.
  • Ensure compliance with Customer Charter.
  • Be smartly dressed at all times when on duty in theuniform provided, including name badge.

What does the role involve?

You will support the provision of a first-class leisure experience for all our customers, ensuring the facilities are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness.

The team

Youll be working within our Operations team and report to the Duty Manager.


Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all areas
  • Clean and prepare both wet side/dry side areas in accordance with the current cleaning schedule
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations


Your experience/qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferable
  • COSHH desirable
