Housekeeper – Bamford Spa

We are seeking motivated Housekeepers/ Cleaners to join our team.

A full-time contract, based on 40 hours per week, a very competitive salary is offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper, the pivotal responsibility of the Spa Housekeeper is a key position, ensuring the cleanliness, health and safety and the member experience is executed to the highest of standards at all times.

  • To assist in the smooth running of a professional, clean and high-quality spa environment.
  • Opening spa procedures to include; lights, candles, air conditioning, music, chilled water, tea, and wet area facilities set up and assisting all departments.
  • Ensuring all spa areas, restaurant/outside terraces and staffing areas are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times.
  • Ensure member areas are clean and tidy; magazines and books are in place, and water and fruit are refreshed.
  • Ensuring the laundry area is clean, tidy and fully stocked at all times.
  • Refilling of tea, cups/glasses washed, dried and stored away throughout the day.
  • Restock member areas with necessary stock items, i.e., hand sanitiser, towels, tissues, cotton pads, slippers and robes.
  • Daily checks and cleanliness of changing rooms, swimming pool, steam and sauna, showers, lockers and lavatories.
  • Deliver excellence in customer service and member health and hygiene care.
  • Advising members and other colleagues of any maintenance/equipment issues and reporting to management accordingly.
  • Assist with any spa events as and when required.
  • Participate in team meetings and other team initiatives in order to be aware of any current events, new and new services.
  • Responsible for replenishment and cleanliness of all stock within changing rooms and member areas

REQUIREMENTS

  • A leisure or hospitality background is not essential but preferred.
  • Flexibility: this is a 7 day a week operation, so shifts include evenings and weekend.
