Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

Our role
As a Digging gang you will be responsible for digging and working as part of the South West Water team on behalf of Network Plus. Working to meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective manner, whilst working with your team and making a profit for Network Plus. You will provide technical expertise, experience and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.
Works could be clean or waste, up to 500mm in diameter. R&M activity, PRV or meter complex works, bypasses, diversion, surface water separation and rising mains.
You will work with the scheduling team ensuring programmes are met and delivered accordingly. You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as focusing on the customer’s needs
Key Responsibilities
You will have good knowledge of site safety and site set ups with the public and team members welfare being essential
You will have knowledge and experience of new connections
You will maintain a customer focus
You will have good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment
You will use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback
Experience and Qualifications
NRSWRA Operative
Deep excavations
Mini excavator up to 10 tone/above beneficial
Full UK Driving Licence with towing capacity for digger
Safe Dig/Cable avoidance accreditation (EUSR Preferred)
Manual Handling
First Aid
Confined spaces
Moling
Abrasive wheels
Electrofusion
Salary and Benefits
Direct £13p/h TL, Operative £11p/h.
HUDSON £350 gang split
