Parkside is an Outstanding Special School in the Golden Triangle part of Norwich. We have pupils aged from 7years old to 16 years old and a one year post 16 provision to support young people with independence. Parkside is a friendly school with a family feel to it.
Parkside likes to have fun and support our pupils to live life fully through supporting their learning in communication, self-regulation and independence.
The successful candidate will:
- Care about providing the best opportunities for children with SEN
- Be calm and patient, especially when a child is showing dysregulated behaviour.
- have the highest expectations of children and support them to achieve these
- be a team player, think on their feet and show initiative
- understand the importance of safeguarding in all aspects of school life
- Be able to physically support pupils when needed (with appropriate training provided).
Working hours: 8.30am-3.30pm Weekly Staff Training on a Tuesday until 4.30pm can be included
