About the roles

Tockwith Church of England Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join a fantastic and supportive team within a high achieving and attaining school. We are looking for a passionate educator who has an excellent understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and the importance of effective classroom provision. As a school we use ‘Little Wandle’ phonics scheme, the right candidate will have experience of delivering high quality phonics lessons, making these fun and interesting for a wide range of children.

As a Church of England school, we are looking for an excellent practitioner who supports our Core Christian Values of perseverance, creativity and friendship. We have close links to our local church and enjoy celebrations throughout the school year.

Job requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
