Full Time Paisley, Scotland 38563 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Bidfood are one of the UK’s leading foodservice providers delivering over 13,000 food and non-food products to over 45,000 customers throughout the UK, in their modern fleet of multi temperature vehicles. We offer a national service supported by our great teams in 24 local depots supplying coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, care homes, hospitals, schools and contract caterers all across the country. If you have a real hunger and drive for a rewarding and fulfilling career, come and join our journey to remain best foodservice provider for our customers and be part of our #bestteam!

At Bidfood, we recognise that the quality of our Transport teams are instrumental to our success. We are currently looking for Class 2 Multi Drop Drivers to join our Glasgow Transport Team!

What does this mean for you?

It means you can expect an excellent working environment, job security, fantastic development opportunities, and a great salary and benefits package. Not only this, but being a multi-drop role, it will help you keep fit as you’re often out of the cab, meeting customers, and being the face of our business to so many people. Our customers rely on you to feed their customers so the arrival of our lorry is always a welcome sight.

We value all our employees with our Drivers commenting that: “The best thing about working for Bidfood is being on the road and working with a fantastic customer base!”

A bit about the role

You’ll be delivering food and non-food products to our customers in multiple locations throughout the day. The route can vary on a day-to-day basis but there will also be regular customers, meaning there’s a good mix of both variety and familiarity, which our drivers appreciate.

This role will cover 5 days out of 7. This means that you will work some Saturdays, but not all. This is worked on a rota basis with our other drivers.

A bit about you

You’ll possess a Category C LGV Licence (class 2). You’ll also enjoy a challenge and care about helping our customers succeed, taking pride in being the face of our company to so many people every day. Ideally, you will have six or fewer penalty points on your licence.

If this is you, we look forward to hearing from you.
