Class 1 Tanker Driver (Tramping)

Menzies Distribution are currently looking for an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Tanker Driver to join our team, providing a first class service in Bury. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and it's customers.

*** PLEASE NOTE YOU WE DO NOT REQUIRE YOU TO HAVE ADR LICENCE FOR THIS ROLE JUST PREVIOUS TANKER EXPERIENCE)

What You Really Want To Know:

• Salary: £35,000.00 Per Annum
• Shift: 4 On/4 Off Tramping
• Holidays: 20 Days Per Annum - Bank holidays need to be booked from allowance
• Monthly Pay
• We work with Food Products e.g. Chocolate

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading
• Tramping is required
• Weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• Previous bulk Tanker tipping experience using pump and/or compressor (essential)
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
