Job description
Taylor Stevenson are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Sheffield.
Our client is a national general haulage distributor delivery palletised good nationwide out of their Sheffield depot.
We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 / C+E tramping drivers to work throughout the year on multiple contracts – immediate starts available.
REQUIREMENTS:
· HGV Class 1 Experience. (1 year minimum)
· Must be over 25 with no more than 6 points.
· Valid CPC, Digi card and Driving License.
· Curtainsider experience.
- Physically fit and ok with manual handling
· Full PPE
DUTIES:
· Delivering palletised goods to various locations
· Unloading trailer on occassion with a PPT and handballing loose products
· Carrying out POD's
· Vehicle checks and reforting defects
· Good communication with transport
- Shift patterns are Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
RATES: (PAYE)
Monday to Friday:
£170 shift rate + £25 per night out
