Our state-of-the-art facilities in Horwich are expanding and our new £4.2 million waste processing plant is now up and running. As a result, we are looking to grow our team of dedicated staff and we now have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team.
£145 per day, plus meal and night allowance
Monday to Friday – hours per day will vary and
will include nights out Monday to Thursday
The Role
The post holder will be responsible for driving our Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner, collecting and distributing waste and waste products across our areas of operation. Drivers are given a daily work schedule and are expected to work to this in line with the customer and company objectives. The successful candidate will need to liaise and communicate effectively with customers, members of the public and various site functions, as well as representing the company in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
What you need:
We are seeking a Class 1 qualified candidate with proven work experience driving HGV vehicles. Previous experience within the recycling/waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided on starting in any case. To be successful in this role you will need to have good communication and problem-solving skills and be committed to upholding our company values. Reliability, punctuality and good levels of attendance are also essential.
