We are inviting applications for Class 1 HGV Drivers in our Transport department at our Batley Factory.
The role
We currently have one vacancy available on a day shift.
Days - Wednesday - Sunday or Sunday - Wednesday
Start times will vary between 4am and 7am
We are also looking for a candidate who would be suitable to carry out additional tasks on an adhoc basis, which includes transport planning and desk/office work. Management experience would be advantageous to learn and cover the fleet managers role when applicable.
33 days holidays inclusive of bank holidays (pro-rata)
We have a good fuel bonus that rewards safe competent driving
Overtime is regularly available and the need for flexible drivers is key to help cover holidays and any other absence
Must have a Class 1 driving license for at least 2 years and been driving Class 1 for at least 18 month of the 2 years
No more than 6 points on license
Must be reliable and great time keeping
Must have Driver CPC up to date for at least 2 years
All PPE is provided as well as drivers uniforms
All our vehicles are tracked using the latest tracking system and are all 21 plate DAF XF 480
Driver medicals are paid for by the company
Drivers CPC training is paid for by the company
