Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 Dray Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Monday - Friday shift pattern, some Saturday's are required - Start time is 5am.
- Handling alcoholic goods
- Delivering multiple drops per day to Pubs, Restaurants, and Hotels up to 20 drops per day
- Manual Handling up to 11 tonne of stock per day
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card / Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
