Job description
At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we currently have the following vacancies available at our Avonmouth Depot.
To become part of the Gregory Team, we need our Drivers to have the following:
- A valid LGV UK Driving Licence.
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card.
- A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
Current Opportunities:
- Class 1 Day Driver – Basic salary is £35,380.80pa. Overtime available. Enhanced pay for working weekends. Shifts starting between 03:00hrs – 06:00hrs.
- Class 1 4on 4off Day Driver – Basic salary is £35,613.40pa. Overtime available at an enhanced rate. Rest day working paid. Shifts starting between 03:00hrs – 06:00hrs.
The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves:
- Delivering to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers.
- Single and double deck trailer deliveries.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
