Job description
At Pollock (SCOTRANS) Ltd, we have a vacancy for a Class 1 4on 4off Day Driver based at our Bathgate Depot.
To become part of the Gregory Team, we need our Drivers to have the following:
- A valid LGV UK Driving Licence.
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card.
- A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves:
- Deliveries/collections from various businesses/RDC across the country.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle.
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Using a hand held PDA to complete paperwork.
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
