Claims Manager - Liability. National Salary Upto £55,000 DOE.
Someone who is comfortable managing large motor and/or liability claims and who wishes to join a market-leading, dedicated technical team handling high value/complex injury and/or third party property damage claims up to around £1.5m, whilst being instrumental in driving the development of technical understanding and application across the Company.

A bit about the job:
The greater part of the role is managing and controlling high value/complex motor and/or liability claims in partnership with panel suppliers but importantly, also providing technical guidance and support to the wider Claims function and internal stakeholders through training and advice and audit.
There will be some travelling involved in this role to attend settlement meetings, conferences with counsel etc. This travel can vary, as each case dictates.

Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in; Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester, Norwich, Birmingham or Leeds.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Deep technical knowledge.
- Confidence – being comfortable managing high value claims and being accountable for decisions made.
- Excellent business and customer focus and maintaining the balance between the two.
- Collaborative – working closely with team members as well as other internal stakeholders to drive development and improvements.
- Maintenance of a strong risk management ethos.

- Salary up to £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
