Claims Fraud Investigator - Salary of up to £30,800
Location - Maxim Business Park
We are looking for a Fraud Investigator who has a background in insurance, an investigation role or has been in a fraud prevention type role previously.
This role will involve investigating claims and engaging with customers and third parties to assist with evidence gathering.
This role requires you to be able to come in to the Maxim Business Park offices atleast 50% of your working week, so being within commutable distance is a must for this position.
A bit about the job:
The role will be supporting Motor Claims Casualty, as the Claims Fraud Investigator within our dedicated team for you will review potentially fraudulent claims that have been referred from a variety of sources, by appropriately investigating them to reach the correct outcome and to support our genuine customers by ensuring their claims are settled efficiently.
You will deal with third party and customer demand so must have effective telephony skills and be able to show initiative, making quick decisions when necessary.
Along with managing your own time whilst working as a team to maintain a caseload of active investigations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • An understanding of fraud investigations and possible outcomes of investigations
  • Ability to fact find and analyse claim information to identify discrepancies
  • Experience working in insurance claims or fraud investigation and knowledge of UK legislation including The Fraud Act 2006 (desirable)
  • The ability to effectively manage personal workload
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
