What will l spend my time doing?
Whilst there isn’t a ‘typical’ day within claims, here’s a quick overview of some of the key aspects of the apprenticeship:
- A rotational programme aimed at giving you are wide ranging experience across the entire Claims department.
- You will be part of a high performance and inclusive culture with an emphasis on the quality of claims outcomes and customer service.
- Meet with clients, brokers, lawyers, and service providers to name but a few, to discuss existing claims, account developments and levels of service.
- You’ll obtain a broader understanding of business requirements, claims developments, current claims trends and issues, to enhance the client experience and your personal development.
- You will have plenty of opportunities to spend time within other functions that underpin the business we write, such as underwriting and actuarial.
- You will take ownership of and drive your own development and work in conjunction with us to ensure you are developed to be the best that you can be.

What skills do I need?
- A commitment to continuous personal and professional development
- Intellectual curiosity with a keen interest in ‘learning the ropes’ in Insurance
- A desire to develop highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Tenacity and the ability to see tasks and projects through to completion
- Solid IT skills and a keen interest in developing data and analytical skills

Where will I be based?
Our main office is in the City of London. We offer flexible working which can be discussed with your line manager.
