What to Expect

The primary accountability of this role is to complete timely analysis and investigations into Postmaster concerns and other matters as assigned by the Claim Review Team Leader. This is an evolving role that requires extensive knowledge and experience of operating the Horizon system in addition to a deep understanding of back-office reconciliation processes. As Subject Matter Expert (SME) the successful candidate will be expected to provide information, investigative know-how, guidance and support to the claim assessors, external lawyers and Project Team personnel also working in this area. Please note that this role will be part of the GLO work.

What you need to Succeed

As a Claim Review Advisor, you will be a highly experienced analyst dealing with complex claims in a fast paced environment. We need someone who is ready to get stuck in to the complex data and 'deep dive' into data and present analysis in a straightforward way. In Addition, you will possess the following:


  • Ability to analyse extensive, complex data (transactional/financial/ statistical or clerical) to allow accurate and informed assessment completion
  • Ability to recognise non-conformance to policy, process and procedures and ability to understand from operational and front line experience how non-conformance forms part of a complex claim, identifying root cause and presenting the facts
  • A high level of excel skills with the ability to analyse data efficiently
  • Excellent knowledge of Horizon and ability to interpret Horizon logs and other data available to branches would be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, resilient, with the flexibility to adapt seamlessly to constant change and able to multi-task & work under pressure to challenging deadlines
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Flexible and able to travel as required
