To help design our future projects, we are looking for an Apprentice to join us. Working on a variety of civil engineering projects, you’ll carry out engineering designs and assessments alongside our team.

Your key responsibilities will be:
With the support of your project manager, plan and prioritise your workload
Contribute to solving technical problems with your team
Carry out engineering designs and assessments
Prepare design reports and drawings
Collaborate with Engineers across many disciplines
Be responsible for delivering your own work to a high standard
Attend site visits and client meetings as required

On top of that, you’ll have:
A commitment to complete a five-year degree while working
AAA grades, to include Mathematics and a Physical Science. Applicants without A level Mathematics will be subject to passing a Maths assessment
BTEC Diploma grade D*D*, with an A grade A level Mathematics, or subject to passing a Maths assessment
BTEC Extended Diploma grade DDD, including two Mathematics units, 'Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems' and 'Further Engineering Mathematics', or subject to passing a Maths assessment

Studying
If successful, you'll undertake BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering with the University of Warwick, attending face-to-face teaching in six, week-long blocks each year supported by online learning, whilst working towards your Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
We’ll support you the entire way, pay for your qualification, travel, and accommodation at Warwick University for your week spent on campus, and will introduce you to a mentor to coach and guide you through your development journey.

What you’ll receive
Annual Wage: £18,500
Working week: this will be a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and you will be paid for the normal working hours and training that’s part of your apprenticeship.

Expected Duration
5 years

You must be available to commence employment in September 2023 to be considered for this role.
