Christmas at Whittard is a magical time, could you be part of our festive story? We’ve been passionate about bringing luxury tea and coffee to our communities since 1886, meaning we’ve had Whittard products in stockings and under trees for the last 135 Christmases.

Joining the Whittard family during the busy festive period, you will provide exceptional customer service, strengthening the already successful Newcastle store. Delight your family and friends by using your generous product discount and have yourself a very merry Whittard Christmas!

There are two 4 hour vacancies for this store available.

• Providing first class customer service.
• Becoming an ambassador of the products, offering excellent knowledge and recommendations to customers, taking them on a journey to their perfect purchase.
• Always working towards, and achieving, your daily sales targets.
• Working closely in your team, creating great working relationships with colleagues.
• Operating the till, providing front facing customer service.
• Day to day activities such as cleaning, unpacking deliveries, stock management and depositing money at the bank.
• Hosting in-store and on the street tastings to promote the Whittard product line.

• Experience demonstrating successful teamwork
• Previous experience in a customer service/retail role.
• The confidence to engage with customers in product conversations and provide excellent service and support.
• A commitment to personal development, always striving to reach goals.

Working in a friendly team, you’ll help create the atmosphere of joyful luxury that a Whittard Christmas store exudes. Helping customers finding their perfect product to make their Christmas just right, you’ll play an important role in the functioning of the store during a special period of the year.

Our story began in 1886 when Walter Whittard began selling the finest tea, coffee and hot chocolate in London with the approach to buy the best. Over 135 years later, our never-ending curiosity to find unique blends and distinctive tastes lives on at Whittard. We continue to flourish, and our ambition will always remain the same - to ensure every customer can enjoy their own Whittard moment and make each day more special.
