Hourly Pay: £10.00-12.00
Night Shift Rate: £12.60/hour
Annual Salary: £28,000.00 - £32,000.00
Care 2 Share is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated person who wants to make a difference in the lives of children, young people and their families.
At Care 2 Share, you will be working to nurture and support positive outcomes for young people aged 11-17 years old who have emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We require Children's Residential Support Workers and/or people wanting to change their careers to develop their skills in children's services. At Care 2 Share, we strive to provide our young people with a positive experience within our Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Children's homes.
Care 2 Share would offer a competitive salary based on relevant qualifications, availability, and experience. We would also consider applicants without prior experience who are eager to train and develop careers in this area of work.
Once the probation period has passed, Care 2 Share will provide staff with the training required to have a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification.
Duties involve:
- Key-working with a young person
- Creative engagement skills
- Risk assessments/Care Plans/Daily Logging/Use of IT
- Working as part of a team
- Consistent positive role modelling
- People-centered skills
- Empathy, patience and understanding for those who are vulnerable
- Undertaking shift work, including sleep-ins and wake-in nights
- Full-time and part-time positions are available
- Child care/escorting/direct work with young people
- A good knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
